Every weekday starts with a trip to the bark park for Cooper, and a cup of coffee with a dark chocolate square for me. Today however, was the exception. I woke up too late to take him and had to get to work. Now, hours later we still haven’t gone. I hear an exasperated sigh, and look over my shoulder to meet my pup’s stare. His pleading eyes question why I haven’t allowed him to run, sniff and hump this day. Truly, my heart is breaking. He’s lying on the first step of the foyer ready for any towards-the-door movement on my part. It’s noon-thirty. Surly I can get away for an hour for a justifiable coffee/lunch break. Ok. We’re going, just promise me that you won’t get into the trash again!!
