Oh, oh. oh the Shame

So I was walking along one day minding my own business and there was this black hole that sucked me in, and that's where I've been. Floundering around in nothingness and certainly not updating my blog. Actually, it's been a crazy summer. Wedding, biking, hockey, more wedding...gosh..is someone getting married?
Anyway, this weekend a buddy and I went riding at Boyne Highlands. We had heard about some new trails there, but honestly I didnt expect what we found.

We bombed along through the twists and turns, rode onto ladders and skinnies, hopped kickers while our cross-country singlespeed frames rattled in protest.

The last run we ran into a group of riders, one of whom was a gal who looked so familiar...but I just coulnt place it. We followed the group of guys down and at the bottom of the hill started talking to the one who was waiting for his girlfriend.

"So you're from downstate?" I ask. "Yeah, Warren." I cock my head - damn, he's starting to look familiar too...Oh My God. "Waitaminute! You play hockey! With the Detroit Blazers!! You play with Mike Burch!!!" What a wierd wierd coincidental meeting. I'm now fairly embarrassed because months ago I promised to have the Toronto hockey photos posted, and as of yet...there are none.

Oh, the shame. I'm on the Karma Payment Plan, that and even though Mike was out of town that weekend...

Sometimes I swear - he's got spies everywhere!

I'm being a good girl.
